You could say being a photographer is in my DNA. My earliest memories of my grandmother involve a camera in her hand capturing us as our car pulled out of her driveway after a visit. Each of life's simple moments with her were captured on film and carefully saved in her meticulously kept photo albums.   As the digital age approached it seemed odd to have such antiquated things around seemingly collecting dust ... but now that time has passed and I'm hunting old memories off of various hard drives I look at those albums with such love and appreciation for all of life's simple moments gathered in those old albums.

Today it is me, accessorized by my camera, ready to capture a moment in time. A butterfly catching a child's attention and wonder, a mother's anticipation felt through her pregnant belly, a family's joy and adoration for each other ...

One of my favorite things about putting together a wedding gallery is combining the images from my second shooter's with my own.   We often "divide and conquer" with each of us spending individual time with each member of the wedding party, this allows for each part of the couple to see what their beloved was up to as they prepared to be united.   It also can provide for lots of laughs and giggles along the way as well!

I will work with you to create the unique look and vision you desire for your special occasion through the planning stages, the event and the post event editing.   While I am based in southeastern Vermont I love the adventure of seeing new places and am happy to talk about traveling to your event for you!

Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever ... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything. - Aaron Siskind
