Hi, I’m Denise! I live in Springfield, Vermont with my wife, 11-year-old son and three dogs! We also have 4 older children that have grown up and are off on their own life adventures now. I am pretty certain that our life seems like a crazy chaotic cyclone to most of the outside world, but the truth is I wouldn’t want it any other way! OK, maybe once in a while I’d like time for a nap!

I have always loved photography, both the act of capturing the moment and time spent reminiscing over memories or starting at faces of relatives from long before my time searching for a connection in printed images. For as long as I remember I’d spend hours looking through old family photographs in albums and boxes, or I’d have a camera in my hand capturing friends, family and pets … I cannot imagine how much my parents paid in developing blurry photos of our dog over the years!!! In 2011 I began to take my passion for photography along a more professional route and began capturing other families, seniors, budding athletic superstars and weddings.

I am excited to work with you creating the unique look and vision you desire for your special occasion through the planning stages, the event and the post event editing.   While I am based in southeastern Vermont I love the adventure of seeing new places and am happy to talk about traveling to your event for you!

Other interesting facts about me:

  • I love the beach …in any weather & in any season …. standing at the edge of the ocean always reminds me how big our world really is and recharges my soul in a way nothing else can

  • I also love Disney … it really is such a magical place … I feel the years fade away and see the world through children’s eyes

  • I’m a crier … I cry at movies, TV shows, commercials, social media posts of lost dogs and dogs needing new homes …. 9 times out of 10 I’m also shedding tears at a wedding while hiding behind my camera

  • We danced to Thriller at our wedding with a group of friends - I will always be so grateful to the group of friends that gave up time out of their lives to pull that off

Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever ... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything. - Aaron Siskind
