Hi, I’m Denise!
I live in Springfield, Vermont, with my wife, our youngest son, and our two dogs. We also have four older children who have ventured off into their own lives, making our home feel like a "beautifully chaotic cyclone" most days. Honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way—though I wouldn’t turn down the occasional nap!
My love for photography started long ago, rooted in the magic of old family albums and boxes of printed memories. I spent hours searching for connections in the faces of relatives I never met, and even more hours with a camera in my hand, capturing friends, family, and far too many blurry photos of the family dog.
In 2011, I turned that lifelong passion into a career. Since then, I’ve had the honor of documenting families, seniors, budding athletes, and weddings. From the early planning stages to the final edit, I’m here to bring your unique vision to life. While I’m based in southeastern Vermont, I’m always ready for a new adventure and happy to travel to your event!
A few more things about me:
The Ocean is my Battery: I love the beach in any season. Standing at the water’s edge reminds me how big the world is and recharges my soul.
A Bit of Magic: I’m a total Disney fan. There’s something about that magic that makes the years fade away.
The "Crying Photographer": I’m a crier—movies, commercials, and especially weddings. If I’m at your ceremony, there’s a 90% chance I’m shedding a few tears behind my lens.
Fun Fact: At our wedding, my wife and I (along with some very dedicated friends) performed a full choreographed dance to Thriller. It’s a memory I’ll always treasure!
“I capture the big moments, the messy moments, and the moments that make us cry—because those are the ones that remind us we’re alive.”
