This one hits me right in the heart.
I’ve known Ella since before she was even born — I’ve worked with her dad for years, so watching her grow up into the amazing young woman she is today has been something truly special. It feels like just yesterday she was visiting the office in her car seat and now here she is — a senior.
Ella has always been an athlete through and through. A standout on the soccer field, known for her determination, her smile, and the way she makes everything look effortless. But this past summer threw her a curveball — a season-ending injury that meant surgery, pain, and a long road of recovery.
It would have been easy to get lost in the frustration of it all, but that’s not Ella. She’s shown incredible grit and grace in the face of disappointment, taking it one day at a time, finding strength in the hard parts, and keeping her eyes forward. That resilience shines through her photos — a quiet confidence, a strength that comes from getting through something tough and still smiling on the other side.
Spending the morning with Ella for her senior session was a joy — easy laughter, beautiful light, and the sense that she’s ready for whatever comes next.
