Recently I found myself in one of Vermont’s signature fall moments — a thick, whispering fog settling softly over the landscape. Shooting in foggy conditions is always something special. The subdued light filters through the mist, creating a mysterious, almost enchanted atmosphere that’s very different from the golden hour’s warm glow. It’s a quiet beauty — ethereal and calming — that lends a dreamlike quality to every shot, capturing the essence of those fleeting fall mornings in Vermont.
I had the pleasure of photographing Daxton, a proud member of Woodstock Union High School’s Class of 2026. He’s a young man with big dreams in his heart — hoping to go into engineering someday. It’s inspiring to see his drive and excitement for the future, already envisioning a path filled with innovation and problem-solving.
This session was especially meaningful because I’ve had the privilege of working with his family before. Three years ago, I photographed his brother’s senior photos. Seeing families grow and being part of these important milestones is truly a privilege, and I’m incredibly grateful for their continued trust over the years.
As Daxton heads into his final year of high school, I’m excited to see the bright future that awaits him. Here’s to a memorable senior year — filled with discovery, growth, and all the adventures that lie ahead.
